Finally the sun has come out and the crops are ripening, which means we need more people to harvest and process them!

We are involved with harvesting all sorts of crops and vegetables with positions available now:

•  Pea harvesting and Processing – Berwickshire and Eyemouth
•  Cabbage cutting – East Lothian
•  Grain Drying, Lab Techs and Yard Work – East Lothian and Tayside
•  Tractor Drivers – East Lothian and Scottish Borders

Lots of hours are guaranteed and if you are working with the crops primary grower you will earn at the Scottish Agricultural Wage of £8.21ph no matter how old you are and an overtime rate of £12.31ph.

As the grain and pea harvests begin to tail off we start with the potato season, which is no longer a back breaking manual exercise rather its grading potatoes on large harvesting machines as part of a 20 strong team working a field.  Working from 0800 to 2000 during the peak lots of overtime is guaranteed.
